A very warm welcome to our website where you can find out about the parish of Parkend and Viney Hill in  the beautiful  Forest of Dean.

Since 2007 we have been a Local Ministry Benefice under the Diocese of Gloucester's scheme, which encourages the use of all our gifts and talents in God's service in this local area in which we live and work.  We share our faith in Jesus Christ by ministry through our worship, our fellowship and practical care to the community,  also working closely with other local churches.

In 2008 we became a United Parish with our two parish churches of St Paul's, Parkend and All Saints', Viney Hill.  These buildings stand as witnesses to God's presence and places of prayer to encourage our Christian life.  They are also special places for many people due to family or community connections and we seek to make them hospitable places of welcome.

Whatever has drawn you to look for us, we hope this site will behelpful to you.

Thank You

To everyone who helped with the preparation for Philippa’s retirement supper and to those who helped during the event. Thanks also to all those who came along in the evening. It was very enjoyable and gave Philippa and Jeremy an evening to remember.

To all the people who contributed their time, talents and effort to the Christmas Fayre. It was a great success and an incredible £1078.15 was raised for Church funds.

Thanks must also go to all who give up their time for T’Church @ 3, providing refreshments, transport and so much more for those who attend.
